Heavenly Hand (天和 · Tin Wo) is a Hong Kong mahjong hand: The dealer’s opening 14 tiles are already a complete winning hand. The rarest event in mahjong. The legacy additive reference sheet prices it at 27 faan, and every win also carries the 1 faan base, so a hand whose only named line is Heavenly Hand totals 28 faan. Under the legacy additive payout that 28 faan is the payment itself: the winner collects 84 points on a self-draw (自摸), when all three opponents pay 28 each, or 28 from the single player who discarded the winning tile (點炮). These are legacy additive reference values; tables choose their own sheet.

Example. East receives these complete fourteen tiles in the opening deal and declares before discarding: Heavenly Hand. The event, not the one-suit shape, earns the name on the legacy additive reference sheet.
Counterexample. South holds thirteen of these tiles and completes them on East’s first discard: that is Earthly Hand on this sheet, not Heavenly Hand. East completing on a later draw is not Heavenly Hand either.
Every win starts at 1 faan for the base, so a hand whose only named line is Heavenly Hand is worth 1 + 27 = 28 faan. Anything else the hand happens to be — a flush, a triplet shape, a dragon set — stacks on top of that.
Faan is not the score by itself — it is the number the table turns into points, and Hong Kong tables do that two different ways. The table below keeps the legacy additive reference sheet's hand values and changes only its payout model. The half/full rows are illustrative payout overrides, not the Half Spicy or Full Spicy presets, which also change hand values and settlement.

Self-draw: all three opponents pay. Discard: only the player who threw the tile pays. Both columns are the winner's gain, straight out of the app's settlement function.
Worth knowing. Both doubling tables stop at 13 faan, so this 28-faan hand is paid at the 13-faan row — 384 points under 半辣上 and 8192 under 辣辣上. Everything above 13 faan pays the same. The additive model has no ceiling, so there the extra faan still count.
Heavenly Hand is a House-Rules option rather than a chip on the calculator, so it has no switch there. The engine does score it once your table gives it a value; the calculator totals up everything else in the hand.
