These terms cover your use of Mahjiku, an app for scoring Hong Kong mahjong and learning the game. By using the app, you agree to them. Mahjiku records game points only — it involves no real-world money, wagering, or gambling.

Mahjiku is a score-tracking and learning tool. It records game points, hands, and sessions. It does not handle real-world money, stakes, wagering, or gambling of any kind, and it must not be used to operate any such activity.
The scores, hands, and sessions you record remain yours. You grant us permission to store and process them to run the app — sync your games, show scoreboards and history. Photos are not included: a photo you attach to a hand stays on your device, is never uploaded to us, and is never used to improve our tile reader. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Some features may be offered as an optional paid Superhost upgrade. Where purchases are available, they are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their pricing, billing, renewal, and refund policies apply. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account. Playing, manual scoring, watching, and sharing stay free.
We work to keep Mahjiku running well, but we provide the app “as is” and can’t guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.
To the extent permitted by law, Mahjiku is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Mahjiku and delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account, which permanently removes your account, games, and history from our servers. We may suspend access that violates these terms.
We may update these terms; we’ll change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app.
